Game preview
After losing to Baltimore by a score of 38-6 in its season opener, Cleveland has bounced back and now lays claim to its best record since 1994. But while the Browns are in the driver's seat of the AFC Wild Card race, the Ravens are fighting for their postseason life after having spent the past two weeks dealing with re-scheduled games as the result of a coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Yet despite the two teams trending in different ways, the reality remains that Baltimore didn't just beat Cleveland earlier this season -- it blew them out. Monday will give the Browns a chance to not only avenge that defeat but further prove they're a team to be taken seriously beyond the regular season.
Prediction
In what marks his first rematch against a team to have beat him, Kevin Stefanski furthers his Coach of the Year campaign with a well-executed game plan that limits Lamar Jackson's opportunities. While containing Jackson is easier said than done, I think Cleveland's offense manages to make enough plays to earn a fifth straight win.
Final score: Browns 28, Ravens 24
