While Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski had plenty to dwell on one day removed from his team's 45-7 loss to the New England Patriots, he was also able to share some good news on Monday when he revealed that cornerback Troy Hill had been released from a Boston area hospital.

"He is on his way back from Boston," Stefanski said. "He has a neck sprain, but all in all, good news with him."

The 30-year-old Hill had been hospitalized after suffering a neck sprain in the fourth quarter of the Browns' Week 10 loss

After attempting to make a tackle on an 11-yard touchdown pass from Patriots backup quarterback Brian Hoyer to wide receiver Jakobi Meyers with 4:11 remaining in the game, Hill could be seen laying motionless on the field while being surrounded by concerned teammates and opponents.

Hill was ultimately taken off the field on a stretcher and was able to indicate that he had movement in all of his extremities. He remained in a Boston area hospital overnight before being released on Monday when he was scheduled to travel back to Cleveland.

This past offseason, the Browns signed the Youngstown native to a two-year contract worth $9 million.

Appearing in all 10 of Cleveland's games this season, he has tallied 41 tackles, two sacks and one pass defense while serving as the Browns' No. 1 slot cornerback.
