Game preview:
Coming off a much-needed bye, the Browns won't have to wait long to get back to meaningful football -- or to face a familiar foe. In the Ravens, Cleveland will be facing the team it most recently played in what was ultimately a 16-10 Ravens win.
But while the Browns clearly have ground to gain in the AFC playoff picture, Cleveland's two potential paths to the playoffs -- the AFC North and the wild card -- remain very much alive. As far as the former is concerned, the Browns sit two games back of the Ravens, but have one game remaining against each of their three division opponents.
Regardless of which path to the playoffs is more likely, Cleveland likely needs to win four of its five final games. That starts on Sunday against a Baltimore team that has been dealing with injuries of its own, but still possesses one of the league's most dynamic quarterbacks in 2019 MVP Lamar Jackson, who still managed to lead the Ravens to victory against the Browns despite throwing four interceptions against Cleveland two weeks ago.
