CLEVELAND -- Having acquired wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., pass-rusher Olivier Vernon and running back Kareem Hunt, the Cleveland Browns have enjoyed arguably the impactful offseason in the NFL.

But just how much better will the Browns be when they take the field this fall? According to one sportsbook, the expectation is for Cleveland to improve by two wins.

On Sunday, sportsbook operator CG Technology released its over-under win totals for all 32 NFL teams. And one of the most notable numbers came in the form of the Browns over-under wins total, which opened at 9 victories.

Although that number may seem low for a team that's currently favored to win the AFC North, it's worth noting that Cleveland is currently favored to hit the over on its total. According to ESPN, the odds on the Browns over currently sit at -120 while the under is marked at even.

For the betting uninitiated, it would take a successful $120 wager on the over to earn a $100 profit, while a successful $100 bet on the under would return $100.

Last year, the Browns' over-under win total closed at six victories.

While nine wins would mark just a two-victory improvement from last season, when Cleveland amassed a 7-8-1 record, it's worth noting that the Browns haven't compiled a winning season since 2007. That, however, is expected to change this coming year, with Cleveland possessing one of the most talented young rosters in all of football, led by Baker Mayfield, who established himself as the team's franchise quarterback during his rookie season in 2018.

Should the Browns hit the over on their win total, it would likely put them in a good position to qualify for postseason play for the first time since 2002.

As far as winning the Super Bowl is concerned, CG Technology has given Cleveland 20-1 odds of doing just that -- the 10th best in all of the NFL.
