Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett to be featured in ESPN The Magazine's 'Body Issue'

On Monday, ESPN The Magazine announced its roster for the 11th annual 'Body Issue,' which will feature Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett.

CLEVELAND — As the 2019 season approaches, the Cleveland Browns have become no strangers to publicity.

But after Baker Mayfield graced the cover of ESPN The Magazine last month and Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry were featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated's NFL preview, Myles Garrett has landed a different type of magazine story.

On Monday, ESPN The Magazine announced the roster of athletes who will be featured in its upcoming 'Body Issue.' And included in this year's issue will be Garrett along with a list of athletes including Brooks Koepka, Nancy Leiberman, Amanda Nunes, Chris Paul, Michael Thomas, Christian Yelich and the Philadelphia Eagles' offensive line.

Now in its 11th year of publication, ESPN The Magazine's 'Body Issue' was "created in celebration of the athletic form." It has also "featured athletes of all shapes and size, representing numerous sports."

According to ESPN, the official photo gallery and athlete story pages will go live on ESPN.com on Wednesday, Sept. 4, with the magazine itself hitting newsstands on Sept. 6.

Listed at 6-foot-4 and 272 pounds, Garrett lays claim to one of the most impressive physiques in all of football. In two seasons with the Browns, he has put that combination of strength and speed to good use, totaling 75 tackles and 20.5 sacks through his first 27 career games, including a 2018 Pro Bowl campaign in which he amassed 35 tackles and 13.5 sacks.

Entering Cleveland's highly anticipated 2019 campaign, the former No. 1 overall pick has been looking to take his game to the next level, training alongside reigning UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.

But before Garrett takes the field for the Browns' 2019 opener against the Tennessee Titans next Sunday, he'll first show the world what he'll be working with this season.
