How much would you pay to tailgate before a Browns game?
Technically, the current price is $25 per space in the Muni Lot, the location die-hards have called home for decades. It's a tried-and-true system, but now, the team itself is trying to up the stakes a little bit.
The Browns on Saturday unveiled a new "Premium Tailgate" experience that will be in place for the 2022 season. Director of Membership Development Mike Judge tweeted out photos of the swanky looking trailer, which features modern upholstery, high-definition televisions, "all-inclusive" food and drinks, and even an outdoor patio on the roof.
The trailer can hold up to 20 people and will be available to its guests beginning four hours before kickoff. Unlike most tailgating vehicles, though, it will be located on Alfred Lerner Way, right outside FirstEnergy Stadium.
Then there's the issue of the price. According to the team's website, the deposit alone to reserve the trailer is $1,000. What the full cost will be is anyone's guess.
Suffice to say, it looks like most Browns fans will be sticking with the Muni Lot this season. Time will only tell which experience turns out to be superior.
