CLEVELAND — Done deal. The Cleveland Browns have made a roster move on special teams for the second consecutive day. After the team signed punter Corey Bojorquez on Monday to a two-year deal, the team re-signed kicker Chase McLaughlin to the roster on Tuesday.
McLaughlin is a three-year veteran and joined the Browns during the 2021 offseason. McLaughlin was the primary kicker for the Browns last year, finishing the season 15-of-21 on field goal attempts and 36-of-37 on extra points. For his career, McLaughlin is 37-of-49 on field goal attempts and 67-of-69 on extra points.
McLaughlin was reliable from long distance last season as he knocked through all four of his attempts from 50 yards or more, including a 57-yard make against the Chicago Bears in Week 3 at FirstEnergy Stadium.
