Cleveland Browns raising season ticket prices for 2024: What you need to know

Coming off of an 11-6 season, the Cleveland Browns have announced that they will be raising prices for season tickets in 2024.

CLEVELAND — On the same day the Cleveland Browns kicked off the start of NFL free agency, the team has announced that they will be increasing the price of season tickets for 2024.

In a news release sent out Monday, the Browns announced that the starting price point for season tickets in 2024 will be at $65 per game, a $5 increase from 2023. Here are more specific details about rate hikes:

  • The Browns say "nearly 85% of club level seats and just about 40% of lower bowl seats" are increasing "no more than $20 per game."
  • Approximately 60% of the upper bowl is going up "by no more than $5 per game, and another 20% of the upper bowl by no more than $10 per game."
  • Additionally, the entire Mezzanine/Deck Level will also change "by no more than $20 per game."

While the 2024 NFL average-ticket-price rankings are still to be determined, the Browns say they expect their pricing to rank in the "middle third" of the league.

Browns fans traditionally have not taken issue with season ticket price increases. The team noted that they reached their season ticket membership maximum each of the past five seasons (2019-2023) and expect to reach their season ticket cap once again in 2024. The Browns also say they have over 8,000 waitlist deposits heading into the 2024 season ticket member renewal process.

“We are consistently striving for ways to enhance our fans gameday experience while also providing affordable ticket options and flexible payment plans for Browns fans that work for each and every one of them,” said Cleveland Browns Vice President of Ticket Operations David Lee in a statement.

The Browns are coming off of one of their finest seasons since returning to the NFL in 1999. The team finished 2023 with an 11-6 record, advancing to the AFC Wild Card playoffs. At home, the Browns were 8-1 in 2023, outscoring opponents 201-125.

"Coming off an incredible 2023 season where we had an 8-1 record at home, we know how crucial our incredible fan base is to the success of our team and truly creates a home-field advantage for the Browns," Lee added.

Although the 2024 NFL schedule has not been released, we do know the Browns' home opponents for the upcoming season. The list includes five playoff teams from 2023, highlighted by the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. Here's the list:

  • Baltimore Ravens

  • Los Angeles Chargers
  • Miami Dolphins
