CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns have added more depth to their roster ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft.
The team announced on Thursday that it has signed NFL veteran offensive lineman Germain Ifedi. The 29-year-old is entering his ninth NFL season and spent most of 2023 with the Buffalo Bills.
The Texas A&M product was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
During his NFL career, which has included stints with the Seahawks (2016-2019), Bears (2020-21) and Falcons (2022), Ifedi has appeared in 102 career games, including 83 starts. In those 83 starts, 59 were at right tackle, and 24 were at right guard.
Despite spending most of the 2023 season on the Bills active roster, Ifedi did not appear in any games.
In addition, the team announced that they placed T Justin Murray on reserve/retired. Murray appeared in 41 career games with 20 starts. He also spent part of the 2023 season on the Browns' practice squad.
