BEREA, Ohio — While we're still months away from the start of the 2023 NFL season, we've learned new information on this year's Cleveland Browns training camp -- and it's a change of scenery.
3News' Nick Camino reported Sunday that the Browns will be starting training camp this year at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
The plan is to start camp at The Greenbrier from July 22-30, which will be closed to the public.
The Browns will then return to Berea for a couple of practice sessions before the Hall of Fame Game against the New York Jets on Thursday, Aug. 3 in Canton. The game will be broadcast nationally on NBC and locally on WKYC. It marks the first time the Browns have participated in the Hall of Fame Game since 1999 when they beat the Dallas Cowboys.
