Game preview
Thanks to Cade York's 58-yard field goal with 13 seconds remaining, the Browns find themselves 1-0 for the first time since the 2004 season. Now Cleveland will look to get off to what would be its first 2-0 start since 1993 -- and finds itself a near-touchdown favorite at home, no less.
Jacoby Brissett will be making his start at quarterback for the Browns, filling in for Deshaun Watson, who is suspended for Cleveland's first 11 games. The Jets, however, will also be starting a backup quarterback, with Joe Flacco starting in place of Zach Wilson, who is continuing to recover from a knee injury he suffered in the preseason.
Much like last week against Carolina, expect Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski to dial up a healthy dose of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt on the ground. On the other side of the ball, Myles Garrett is just 1.5 sacks away from tying Clay Matthews Jr. for Cleveland's all-time record.
