Preview

So far, the 2024 NFL season has been a downward spiral for the Cleveland Browns after suffering multiple embarrassing losses, including last weekend's against the Commanders

This season, Watson has proven to be a liability for the team. He comes into Sunday's game having been sacked a league-high 26 times for a loss of 154 yards. He has yet to throw for over 200 yards in a game and has the lowest QBR in the league at 21.

Despite Watson's lackluster effort and subpar play that drew criticism from fans and national media personalities, Browns Head Coach Kevin Stefanski has insisted that he hasn't considered benching the Clemson product and says he will remain the starter in Week 6.

While the Eagles have recently been dealing with injuries, their bye week came at a perfect time, resulting in the team being well-rested before playing the Browns.

The Eagles are looking to get back on track after suffering a 33-16 loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4.

Philadelphia has been dealing with multiple injuries to its offensive stars, including wide receiver AJ Brown, who has not played since the team's opener after suffering a hamstring injury. Brown returned to practice on Wednesday, so it is possible that he will play on Sunday. In addition, DeVonta Smith, who was sidelined in Week 4 with a concussion, also returned to practice.

If Brown and Smith return on Sunday, this is a massive boost to Hurts and the rest of the Eagles' offense. In addition, the Eagles possess one of the league's best rushers, Saquon Barkley. The Penn State product currently ranks third in the league with 435 rushing yards.

This bodes well for Philadelphia, as the Browns have been giving up 141.6 rushing yards per game, the eighth most in the NFL.

If the Browns want to save their season, Waston MUST redeem himself this week and take advantage of an Eagles' defense that is not known for attacking the quarterback. The Eagles only have six sacks on the season, which is the second-lowest in the league.
