With their loss to the Saints officially eliminating them from postseason contention, the Browns enter the final two weeks of the 2022 season knowing that's all that's left of this campaign. Still, Cleveland will be looking to get its offense back on track, as quarterback Deshaun Watson has yet to lead the team to more than one touchdown in a single game since making his Browns debut on Dec. 4.
While Cleveland has played the previous two weeks battling not only its opponents, but the weather, Sunday's forecast calls for most sunny skies and comfortable temperatures. In other words, it should be the perfect opportunity for the Browns' offense to bounce back following a month's worth of uninspiring performances.
As for the Commanders, Washington remains alive in the NFC playoff race. Earlier this week, head coach Ron Rivera announced that Carson Wentz will get the start at quarterback against Cleveland, after Taylor Heinicke started the previous nine contests, amassing a 5-3-1 record.
