Preview:

The Cleveland Browns theoretically should be well rested coming off of a Week 5 bye week. However, the Browns had a week full of uncertainty, leading to Friday's announcement that quarterback Deshaun Watson will be missing Sunday's game.

The Browns will once again be without QB Deshaun Watson who has been out since Week 4 against the Baltimore Ravens because of a right rotator cuff contusion. Watson's absence led head coach Kevin Stefanski to make a change at the backup quarterback spot naming veteran P.J. Walker the starter for Week 6. Additionally, starter Joel Bitonio has been ruled out due to a knee injury and David Njoku remains questionable as he recovers from burns.

A healthy San Francisco comes into the contest being one of only two teams with a perfect record heading into Week 6. The 49ers have been led by Christian McCaffrey, who ranks first in the NFL for rushing yards with 510 and touchdowns with eight.

Besides McCaffrey, the 49ers have a laundry list of offensive weapons in tight end George Kittle and wideouts Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk. Quarterback Brock Purdy has continued to impress as well averaging 254.2 passing yards per game.

The Browns' defense leads the NFL only allowing 196.8 receiving yards per game and ranks fifth for rushing yards allowed with 143.8 per game. However, the Browns' defense will be faced with a powerful 49ers offense, which has notched at least 30 points in all of their contests.
