It's been 13 years since Jim Donovan last called a winning season for the Cleveland Browns.
But thanks to the Browns' 41-35 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, which moved Cleveland's record to 9-3 on the season, "The Voice of the Browns" is guaranteed to call a winning season -- and perhaps even a playoff game.
As he does each Monday, Donovan joined WKYC.com to share his thoughts on the Browns' latest game. On this week's episode, Ben Axelrod filled in for Dave "Dino" DeNatale, with the two discussing a variety of Browns-related topics, including the following:
- Jim's take on the Browns' Week 13 victory over the Titans.
- How Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski strayed from the expected offensive game plan.
- Stefanski's arrival as one of the most acclaimed coaches in the NFL.
- The uneven nature of the Browns' victory, which saw them jump out to a 38-7 lead before being outscored 28-3 in the second half.
- Quarterback Baker Mayfield's performance in what marked his most impressive outing of the season.
- How Cleveland's win over the Titans changed their outlook for the remainder of the season.
- What it's like to finally call a winning season after 12 consecutive losing seasons for the Browns.
- Next week's Week 14 matchup on Monday Night Football against the Baltimore Ravens.
