CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns are 9-3.
Yes, you read that correctly.
With their 41-35 win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, the Browns clinched their first winning record since 2007 and remain off to their best start since the 1994 season. Cleveland also picked up what was arguably its most impressive victory of the 2020 season, beating an 8-3 Titans team that entered Sunday in first place of the AFC South.
As he does each Monday, 3News' Jay Crawford joined WKYC.com to share his thoughts on the Browns' latest game. On this week's episode, Ben Axelrod filled in for Dave "Dino" DeNatale, with the two discussing a variety of Browns-related topics, including the following:
- The Browns' journey from their season-opening blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens to securing a 9-3 record.
- The uneven nature of Sunday's victory, which saw Cleveland jump out to a 38-7 first-half lead before being outscored 28-3 in the second half.
- The job that first-year head coach Kevin Stefanski has done in helping turn around the Browns following last year's disappointing 6-10 record.
- The play of quarterback Baker Mayfield, who turned in his best performance of the season against the Titans on Sunday.
- What Sunday's win says about the Browns' upside for the remainder of the season.
- Next week's matchup with the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football.
