CLEVELAND — Heading into this Saturday's Browns game against the Raiders, we thought we'd be focusing on x's and o's in a critical late-season matchup with both teams fighting for a postseason berth.
Instead, we're thinking about Covid. The Browns have 17 players currently on the COVID-19 list, including quarterback Baker Mayfield. Head Coach Kevin Stefanski also tested positive.
Naturally, you have a lot of questions about the state of the team. Who better to answer them than the "Voice of the Browns," Jim Donovan. Jimmy opened up the mailbag during Wednesday's edition of Front Row and answered the following questions:
Any chance Saturday's game will be postponed due to the Browns being hit so hard with Covid this week? -- Sheila in Painesville
Do you think the NFL Covid protocols are overly protective? So far there seems to have been no problem with players that were held out. It seems they could have played with no problem. -- Dave from Chardon
What is going on with Rashard Higgins? He was huge last year and was Baker's go-to receiver. He seems to be lost in the mix -- James in Canal Fulton
You can get your question for Jim Donovan answered during a future edition of "Hey Jimmy." Simply text your question to us (216) 344-3300, and we'll select three to be answered each Wednesday on Front Row. Please make sure to include your name and where you are texting us from.
We look forward to hearing from you! In the meantime, check out Jimmy's Take from last Sunday's win over the Ravens.
