CLEVELAND — Editor's note: the video in the player above is from Dec. 14, 2020.
As the 2020 NFL season nears its end, you'd be hard-pressed to find a head coach who's received more praise than the Cleveland Browns' Kevin Stefanski.
And the betting odds for the 2020 NFL Coach of the Year award now reflect as much.
According to Bovada (via Odds Shark), Stefanski currently has the best odds of being named the 2020 NFL Coach of the Year. At +140, the Browns' first-year head coach currently holds a slight edge over Ron Rivera of the Washington Football Team (+150), with the next closest coach -- Sean McDermott of the Buffalo Bills -- possessing significantly steeper odds at +550.
Per Bovada, the current Coach of the Year odds are as follows:
- Kevin Stefanski +140
- Ron Rivera +150
- Sean McDermott +550
- Brian Flores +600
- Mike Tomlin +1200
- Andy Reid +1800
- Matt Lafleur +2000
- Sean Payton +2000
- Frank Reich +2500
- Mike Vrabel +3500
At 10-4, Stefanski's Browns enter their Week 16 matchup with the New York Jets already laying claim to their first winning season since 2007 and tied for their best record since returning to the NFL in 1999. - Browns beat Jets, Colts lose to Pittsburgh Steelers
- Browns beat Jets, Dolphins lose or tie to Las Vegas Raiders
- Browns beat Jets, Ravens lose or tie to New York Giants
