Even as he's beefed up his personal sneaker portfolio, a certain colorway has been missing from Odell Beckham Jr.'s Nike sneaker line.
But nearly a year after the Cleveland Browns first acquired the 3-time Pro Bowl wide receiver in a trade with the New York Giants, Nike will finally release a pair of OBJ sneakers that pay tribute to Beckham's current team.
In what will mark the latest addition to Beckham's signature shoe line, Nike will release the first two colorways of the OBJ Nike Air Max 720 Slip. A laceless take on the Nike Air Max 720, both colorways will be compatible with Browns gear, as one pair is predominantly orange, while the other is black with orange accents.
Both pairs of shoes feature Beckham's signature OBJ Nike logo and will release on Friday, Feb. 21 on Nike.com for $200.
Considered one of the most fashionable athletes in all of sports, Beckham signed a 5-year, $29 million deal with Nike in 2017, which is believed to be the richest shoe endorsement contract in football. In addition to providing Beckham with customized versions of his signature Vapor Untouchable Pro 3 OBJ cleat throughout the season, Nike has attached the 26-year-old Beckham's name and fashion sense to non-football shoes, including the Air Max 720 and the Joyride CC3.
Appearing 16 games with the Browns in 2019, Beckham tallied 74 receptions for 1,035 yards and 4 touchdowns.
