The Cleveland Browns might now be in the middle of their bye week, but Odell Beckham Jr.'s name remains in the news.
According to TMZ, the 3-time Pro Bowl receiver is being sued by a company called Celebrity Motors, which alleges that Beckham broke an agreement when he allowed a friend to drive a car he had borrowed from the company, which the friend then crashed.
The incident allegedly occurred on Oct. 24, 2017 when Beckham's friend, Blake Anderson crashed a 2017 BMW 650XG in the Lincoln Tunnel, which connects New Jersey and New York City. According to Celebrity Motors, it had a verbal agreement with Beckham that he would be the only one to drive the vehicle, which is worth approximately $103,000.

But the lawsuit filed by Celebrity Motors' insurance company, Lexington Insurance Company, alleges that Beckham allowed Anderson to drive the vehicle, which he then crashed into another car, causing $38,000 damage to the BMW. Per TMZ, "Lexington Insurance claims Beckham should have known his friend is a terrible and unsafe driver with multiple traffic infractions and had no experience driving a car with 'this kind of power.'"
Anderson reportedly doesn't have the means to pay for the damage caused in the accident. Beckham is currently in the first year of a 5-year, $90 million contract with the Browns.
