CLEVELAND — Not glamorous, but perhaps the Browns needed a win like that.
Sunday's 14-7 win over the Minnesota Vikings was both ugly and wonderful at the same time. Although the offense (particularly Baker Mayfield) struggled, the defense put its foot down once again, a necessity for any team wanting to win in the NFL.
3-1 is 3-1, especially when just a few years ago the Browns couldn't even get one victory. You can't take wins for granted, but for contenders, it's only natural to get nit-picky.
This reflects the mood on social media. While fans are certainly happy with the win and elated with the defense, they recognize some things must improve for the Browns to go deep in the playoffs.

More from Facebook:
- Roy Rolling: No complaints, it was a great game in my opinion.
- Bill Green: The Browns were very fortunate with penalty calls at the end of the 1st half - They got 7 attempts from the 1 yd line.
- Shawn Pinkerton: Not sure if Cleveland won or if it should be Minnesota lost because they beat themselves.
- Carol A Batal: You won't be 100% every game but it takes entire team to win. Baker is just 1 person. The defense had his back that's his cohesive team playing together.
- Bill Bucur: Don't pay him, he is lucky they have 2 great backs and a very good defense pay everyone else
- Kathy Cooper: One game does not make or break a quarterback. If that was the case every quarterback in the NFL would be fired. Everyone including baker is allowed a bad day. They won didn't they??
