CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns made eight selections in the 2021 NFL Draft over the weekend, including three picks on the offensive side of the ball.
With that in mind, let's take a look at the Browns' updated offensive depth chart following this year's draft.
Quarterback
- Baker Mayfield
- Case Keenum
The Browns didn't sign a quarterback in free agency or select one in the draft, leaving their depth chart the same in 2021 as it was in 2020. Baker Mayfield will look to build off the strides he made last season, while veteran Case Keenum returns as the 2018 No. 1 overall pick's backup.
Running back
- Nick Chubb
- Kareem Hunt
- D'Ernest Johnson
- Demetric Felton
For the third consecutive season, Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt combine to create the league's most talented running back combination. Unless Cleveland carries four running backs on its roster, sixth-round pick Demetric Felton could make D'Ernest Johnson expendable thanks to his ability to contribute on special teams.
Fullback
- Andy Janovich
Andy Janovich returns for his second season as the Browns' fullback.
Wide receiver
- Odell Beckham Jr.
- Jarvis Landry
- Rashard Higgins
- Donovan Peoples-Jones
- Anthony Schwartz
- KhaDarel Hodge
Odell Beckham Jr.'s return from a torn ACL and the third-round selection of Anthony Schwartz should provide the Browns' receiving corps with the downfield speed it lacked for much of last season. Jarvis Landry and Rashard Higgins have each established demonstrable chemistry with Mayfield in the past four seasons.
Tight end
- Austin Hooper
- David Njoku
- Harrison Bryant
- Stephen Carlson
After catching 46 passes for 435 yards and four touchdowns last season, Austin Hooper returns as the Browns' top tight end. Cleveland picked up the fifth-year option on David Njoku's contract, but the 2017 first-round pick remains a trade candidate following Harrison Bryant's promising rookie campaign.
Offensive line
Left tackle
- Jedrick Wills Jr.
- James Hudson III
Left guard
- Joel Bitonio
- Blake Hance
- Drew Forbes
Center
- J.C. Tretter
- Nick Harris
Right guard
- Wyatt Teller
- Michael Dunn
Right tackle
- Jack Conklin
- Chris Hubbard
The Browns return all five starters from what was one of the NFL's best offensive lines in 2020. The selection of James Hudson III in the fourth round provides some depth at offensive tackle, while veteran Chris Hubbard possesses the versatility to play both offensive tackle and guard, if need be.
