Baker Mayfield has yet to score his first touchdown as a member of the Cleveland Browns. But when he does, the celebration will be highly anticipated.
Taking part in the NFLPA Rookie Premiere gala in Los Angeles this past weekend, the reigning No. 1 overall pick showed that while he may be dazzling on the football field, it's the dance floor that might actually be his true calling. Summoning a dance from the popular video game 'Fortnite,' Mayfield boogied down in a video that his gone viral since having been posted on Saturday night.
The Oklahoma product, of course, has no problem displaying his polarizing personality. Between planting an OU flag at Ohio Stadium following a win over Ohio State, making an obscene gesture against Kansas and even displaying similarly impressive dance moves at a Sooners pep rally, Mayfield became equally as known for his persona during his time at Oklahoma as he did for his record-breaking numbers.
None of that, however, mattered to Browns general manager John Dorsey, who selected the reigning Heisman Trophy winner with the No. 1 overall pick of last month's NFL draft.
"This is a guy that has earned everything that he has ever had from high school to college and now up here," Dorsey said of Mayfield last month. "He is a winner and he's competitive."
As it turns out, he's also a heck of a dancer.
