We're just one day away from the start of Cleveland Browns training camp, and you can already feel the excitement in the air.
Coming off a 7-8-1 campaign (the best for the Browns in 11 years), 2019 has the potential to be something special, especially with the addition of Odell Beckham Jr. and the continued emergence of players like Baker Mayfield and Myles Garrett. General manager John Dorsey and head coach Freddie Kitchens both addressed the media on Wednesday, and agree the team is locked and loaded.
"I want everybody to understand this: Our goal here with the Cleveland Browns, as long as I’m here, will always be to win the Super Bowl," Kitchens said. "Now that’s the last time I’m going to say that. Just know and make it a given that that’s what I believe to my core, is to win the Super Bowl."
Following the press conference, WKYC's Matt Florjancic and Pat Chiesa spoke outside team headquarters in Berea. The two discussed a variety of topics, including the promise of last season, the new coaching staff, the Duke Johnson saga, and the ongoing hype.
