CLEVELAND — In the game of life, there’s nothing like a brotherhood.
“You have a favorite player, you have to follow him, and Frank Clark is like a brother to me," said Zeddie Adams. "So anywhere he goes I’ll support him and root for him.”
Clark was born in Los Angeles -- but raised in Cleveland, making his mark at Glenville High School.
Now, Clark and his Kansas City Chiefs are set to square off against the Cleveland Browns in the next round of the playoffs on Sunday.
“He went to Ted Ginn Academy. A lot of great players come out of Cleveland, sowith a talent like his it was bound to happen. ... Seeing a kid from Cleveland making it to the championship and winning a championship ring in the Super Bowl, that was really big for us."
Adams says Clark's heart is always in the game of life.
“He’s a real, true guy. A lot of guys make it to that place in life and detach from people, friends and family and they change. That’s not Frank Clark.”
Adams says Clark is getting his support during Sunday's battle with the Browns.
“I got his back 100 percent, whether I’m there or home, I’m rooting for him. I'm rooting for his greatness. Don’t worry about anybody switching sides! That's my boy. I got him."
