NEW YORK — Football and Christmas fun are taking over WKYC on Wednesday, which is why we’ve made some adjustments to our programming for Dec. 2.
It all kicks off with the Baltimore Ravens taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers, a game that was canceled last week from its Thanksgiving schedule.
Then NBC flips the switch and lights the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in primetime. The holiday special will be hosted by TODAY co-anchors Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Craig Melvin and Al Roker.
This year’s tree, a Norway spruce from Oneonta, New York, is 75 feet tall and 45 feet wide. It will be shimmer with more than 50,000 mutli-colored LED lights while topped with a Swarovski star.
