Former University of Michigan linebacker Devin Bush and Louisiana State’s Devin White showed plenty of athleticism to garner attention from the NFL decision-makers, as they combined five top-five finishes in the general drills.

Once the defensive linemen and edge rushers finished their workouts for the coaches and decision-makers in attendance at the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine, the linebackers took the field at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana Sunday afternoon.

If they did not know before, former Mississippi State defensive end Montez Sweat quickly got the attention of coaches, coordinators and decision-makers during the 40-yard dash drill at the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana Sunday.

Despite his 6-foot-6 and nearly 250-pound frame, Sweat motored down the field in an official time of 4.41 seconds and ran the fastest 40-yard dash among all defensive linemen.

Impressive time in the 40-yard dash on Day 3 of the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana?

No problem.

Former Mississippi State edge rusher Montez Sweat ran an unofficial time of 4.42 seconds in the 40-yard dash, the fastest sprint among the defensive linemen participating in The Combine Sunday.

How fast was Sweat’s time?

Well, it put him on pace with three Pro Bowl offensive players, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, New York Giants pass catcher Odell Beckham Jr. and Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott.

11:30 a.m.-Nick Bosa runs faster 40 than older brother, Joey

Former Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa missed much of the 2018 season with the Buckeyes because of a core muscle injury suffered against the TCU Horned Frogs at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas in the third game of the season, but several months later, all seems to be well with the edge rusher.

On Sunday morning, Bosa ran the 40-yard dash at the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, and outdid the pace his older brother, Joey, set at the 2016 Combine.

The younger Bosa ran the 40-yard dash in 4.84 seconds, while Joey was a touch slower at 4.86 seconds.

10:20 a.m.-Linemen post impressive 40 times

The defensive linemen were the first players to go through drills on Day 3 of the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, and they started the on-field work Sunday with the 40-yard dash.

There were several unofficial sub-5.00-second passes through the 40-yard dash, and here is a look at the top five times from the first group of defensive linemen.

The offense and special-teams position groups went through their workouts over the first two days of the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine, and now, it is time for the defensive linemen and linebackers to take the field at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The defensive linemen and linebackers will go through a variety of position-specific drills, as well as general testing in the 40-yard dash, broad jump and vertical jump in front of NFL coaches and decision-makers on Sunday.
