CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — Cleveland Heights is going red in honor of their own hometown star who is set to play in the Super Bowl this Sunday.
30-year-old Travis Kelce, who attended Cleveland Heights High School, is a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs – and the community is getting very excited about seeing him on football’s biggest night.
That’s why several businesses have teamed up to #LightUpTheHeights. Residents and fans can pick up a free red light bulb to put on display at their house in support of Kelce.
Those businesses distributing the red light bulbs include:
- Quintana’s Barber & Dream Spa
- The Wine Spot
- The Social Room
- New Heights Grill
- The Tavern Company
- Boss Dog Brewing
- The Fairmount
- Grog Shop
They're asking everybody to use the free red light bulbs on their front porch and to take share a photo of it on social media using #LightUpTheHeights.
The light bulbs will be available Thursday and Friday.
Meanwhile, Medina native and former Cloverleaf High School student, Kyle Juszczyk will also be playing in the Super Bowl for the San Francisco 49ers.
