CHESTERLAND, Ohio -- Those looking to train for Olympic ski jumping in Northeast Ohio are in luck.
Bill Harris, a former Alpine Valley Ski Resort general manager, founded Mont Chalet in Chesterland Ohio to do just that.
Bill starts kids on the trampoline, teaching students techniques and jumps before slowly working them over to his ramp and pond, which is built right on his property.

He’s sent two trainees to the Olympics, several more to the U.S. Ski Team and routinely sends kids on to Lake Placid to try out for the national team.
