CLEVELAND -- A storied career spanning four decades and 31 years in Northeast Ohio is being honored tonight at the Greater Cleveland Sports Awards.
In its 16 year, the awards show is presenting Donovan with its Lifetime Achievement Award. He will join an elite group that includes fellow broadcaster Tom Hamilton, his broadcast partner and former Browns player Doug Dieken, as well as Bernie Kosar.
Donovan's career went from being mostly a radio guy to one of the most beloved figures in Cleveland broadcasting. His years on the air for WKYC, as well as his work as the play-by-play radio voice of the Cleveland Browns have left an indelible mark on the city and its legions of passionate sports fans.
