CLEVELAND — What's better than 130 photos of puppies licking peanut butter off of their snouts? Helping raise money for the rescues where they came from!
With his new photo book, 'Peanut Butter Puppies,' coming out on March 23, Lakewood pet photographer Greg Murray has accomplished sharing both things with the world, while also revealing the inspiration behind the project and which photo is his favorite, on the 3 Things to Know with Stephanie Haney podcast.
Murray's virtual book launch falls on National Puppy Day, where he'll livestream the selection of rescue groups to receive donations, sign books ordered through his website live during the stream, and make a $100 donation to a rescue in the name of one book purchaser.
Catch the virtual launch live on March 23 at Greg's Facebook page from 7-7:50 PM Eastern, and on his Instagram page from 8-9 PM.
Plus, I share why Three Dog Bakery CLE is the Ohio City spot for pet treats that you Need to Know in NEO and why Snarky Pants Studios with its custom pet badges is such A Good Follow on Instagram.

Murray, whose work has been featured on the TODAY Show and in People Magazine, has struck a deal with his 'Peanut Butter Puppies' publisher, to donate $1 from every pre-order (available here) through launch day, up to $3,000, to a few of the rescues where the puppies in the book came from.
In fact, every one of the 70 puppies in the book, which is a sequel to Murrray's first book, 'Peanut Butter Dogs,' are all rescues. Murray worked with more than 40 organizations to make this happen.
"My publisher is donating $1.00 for each pre-order made prior to the 23rd up to $30,00 and we’re going to split that hopefully $3000 among three different rescue organizations," Murray said.
"We'll do a random drawing on the 23rd and pick three rescue organizations to split that money, and so we will basically be giving out $1,000 to three different rescue organizations that could really use it.'
