CLEVELAND — 'Revenge sleep procrastination' is a new term that is gaining traction for an old concept of staying up late and shortchanging your sleep, when people don't feel like they get enough free time in their waking hours.
Whether it's because you're scrolling social media, watching televisions, or simply trying to get more things done, the US Centers for Disease Control reports that 1 in 3 adults aren't getting enough sleep.
This week on the 3 Things to Know with Stephanie Haney podcast, psychologist Dr. Michelle Drerup, PsyD explains why we take part in 'revenge sleep procrastination,' how to build better sleep habits, and what the risks are if we don't get the proper amount of rest each night.
Plus, I share why Good Night John Boy is the new night spot that you Need to Know in NEO, and why The Relaxation Guy and his sleep mediation videos are such A Good Follow on YouTube.
