A new way to receive news is coming to your phone.
WKYC is launching a brand new mobile app Monday, July 22.
This isn't your standard, one size fits all news app. The new WKYC app can be customized to tailor your news needs and interests. You can opt in to push alerts for certain categories and locations, such as sports, Cleveland and entertainment. It's all about the news you choose to receive.
Users will also find useful weather updates and featured WKYC content, including daily polls and our latest investigative stories.
You can download the new WKYC app Monday afternoon. Users who already have the WKYC will need to update. Watch the video in the player above to learn how to use it.
It also pays to download or update the app: Once you get the new version of the app, users can enter to win one of three $500 cash prizes.
