Remember Circuit City? Well, its new CEO hopes you'll never forget it again after it relaunches next month.

After teasing a major announcement last week, Circuit City CEO Ronny Shmoel announced during a press conference at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas that the once-bankrupt company will be relaunching its website Feb. 15.

Shmoel then told the CES audience that the retailer plans to expand to kiosks, stores within other stores and eventually its own showrooms.

According to a news released, the company will focus on using new technology to enhancing the shopping experience.

The website will be a "dynamic, social-focused e-commerce site," officials said.

Consumer electronics site Twice reports that Shmoel said tools like videos, virtual vignettes, search-by-photo, augmented reality and real-time tech support via video chat will be used to aid shoppers.

The company has partnered with Skinny IT to provide home installations, and is working with Taylored Group to design experiential showrooms ranging from 8,000 to 10,000 square feet that would mirror the website, Twice reports. Dates and locations for the showroom rollout have not been released.

The company also announced a partnership with IBM Watson commerce, which incorporates A.I. and other new retail technologies to its web platform.

Founded in 1949, Circuit City closed its last retail store in 2009 after filing for bankruptcy in 2008.
