INDIANAPOLIS — Do you think you could go without using your phone for an entire month?
Siggi's Dairy is hosting a digital detox contest offering $10,000 to someone who can abstain from going on their phone for a whole month.
The company says it's a new twist on "Dry January" with the power of living a simpler life with fewer distractions.
The dairy company is also offering other rewards for select contestants like a smartphone lockbox, an old flip phone, a prepaid SIM card and three months' worth of Siggi's yogurt.
Participants will also need to write a 100-500 word essay on why they need to have a digital detox and how it will have a positive impact on their life to enter the contest.
