On Thursday, the 46th annual National Inventors Hall of Fame induction ceremony was held in Washington D.C.
We sent our hall of fame Chief Meteorologist Betsy Kling to our nation's capital to check out the event that celebrates the best and brightest achievers from the STEM world.
The National Inventors Hall of Fame is in Alexandria, Virginia, but its administrative and education headquarters are in our backyard in North Canton. They offer all kinds of STEM programs and camps for kids from pre-school thru college, because you never know who will have the next big break-thru.
15 people were inducted into the hall on Thursday, including three women. Here is this year's class:
One of the inductees this year is Stan Honey, who is credited with coming up with the yellow 1st-and-10 line you see on your television screens during football broadcasts. Betsy caught up with Stan to talk about his inspiration.
