OHIO, USA — Thousands of customers are reported issues with cellular and internet services provider, Verizon Tuesday.

More than 4,000 people reported having Verizon issues on the service-tracking site DownDetector. The reports started rolling in around 3:00 p.m. , and most of them noted that they were unable to make or receive calls.

The most reported locations include Canton, Cleveland, Elyria, North Canton, Massilon, Uniontown, Mentor, Akron and Medina.

According to Verizon, there was an issue with a third party fiber vendor that caused the outages and lapse in user experience, a spokesperson with Verizon confirmed to 3News.

Customers were inconvenienced for roughly two hours. The issue has since been resolved.
