Four people were hospitalized Wednesday following a traffic crash that involved an EMS ambulance on Cleveland's east side.

According to the Cleveland Division of Police, a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was being driven by a 19-year-old man failed to stop at a red light on East 55th Street and Carnegie Avenue. Moving north on East 55th, the Jeep collided with a Nissan Rogue that was moving west on Carnegie through the green light.

The Jeep then struck a Cleveland EMS Ambulance that was stopped at the red light.

The driver of the Nissan, a 55-year-old woman, was taken to University Hospitals (UH) with injuries to her collarbone.
