INDEPENDENCE, Ohio — Heads up!
Drivers were being advised to find a new route on Thursday morning if they were heading into downtown Cleveland.
According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, three right lanes on I-480 West beyond Transportation Boulevard and East 98th Street were blocked due to a crash.
As of 8:19 a.m., all of the lanes were unblocked and delays of nine minutes were expected.
Earlier on Thursday morning, delays of up to 72 minutes were expected on I-480 West between mile markers 26 and 22.
The Independence Police Department is responding to the accident.
