Westbound lanes reopen after crash on Ohio Turnpike in Lorain County

Drivers were asked to avoid the area as a portion of I-80 West was closed early this morning.

LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio — We had an early morning traffic alert for drivers who use the Ohio Turnpike.

All westbound lanes were temporarily closed near Baumhart Road due to a crash in Lorain County.

No additional details are known, but ODOT's traffic map shows the incident is now cleared.
