CLEVELAND — As war rages on in Ukraine, the main story continues to be the tragic human toll Russia's invasion has taken on Eastern Europe. In the United States, however, citizens are starting to feel the pinch at the pump.
American gas prices are now at a record-high average of $4.17 per gallon, and could go up even further now that President Joe Biden has banned Russian oil imports. Ohio's statewide average is slightly lower, but in the Cleveland-Akron-Canton area, rates are still soaring north of $4 a gallon.
