CLEVELAND — Drivers were encountering an unexpected detour early Friday morning in Cleveland. That's because I-71 South was closed for several hours overnight at West 25th Street due to a crash. The closure, which reopened around 5:30 a.m., stretched between West 25th Street and Fulton Road.
Authorities say the two-vehicle crash involved a semi. We're told a 45-year-old man is in critical condition, while a 25-year-old man has minor injuries as a result of the incident. Both were taken to MetroHealth for treatment.
Additional details of the crash were not immediately available, but we will update this story once more information is released.
