AKRON, Ohio — As wintry weather makes an impact on Northeast Ohio, multiple communities have activated a snow parking ban. This means vehicles are not permitted to park on any street within an impacted area during the restricted hours – and those in violation may be towed.
“Parking bans are issued to facilitate the clearing of the streets and to expedite the free flow of vehicular traffic,” Akron city officials explain in a press release. “Motor vehicles shall not be parked on the main streets or residential streets during parking bans.”
