EUCLID, Ohio — Authorities say I-90 eastbound beyond Babbitt Road in Euclid has been reopened after what police called a "serious motor vehicle crash" on Tuesday.
The area was closed for just over an hour, reopening at approximately 2:41 p.m.
"All lanes are now open. Traffic in the area is still currently experiencing delays," the Ohio Department of Transportation posted on its social media platforms.
At 1:32 p.m., ODOT announced that "I-90 eastbound at Babbit Rd./E. 260th is diverting traffic through the exit/entrance ramps. Please use caution in the area and use an alternate route if available."
"There has been a serious motor vehicle accident on I-90 EB in Euclid," added Euclid Police Capt. Mitch Houser in an email to 3News at 1:25 p.m.. "Expect delays and lane closures the length of I-90 EB for a few hours until the scene is cleared."
