CONCORD, Ohio — Traffic is moving again over a portion of Interstate 90 following what the Lake County Sheriff's Office says was a multi-vehicle crash Friday afternoon.
The Ohio Department of Transportation confirmed the highway was closed eastbound from State Route 44 to Vrooman Road near Concord and westbound beyond Vrooman. ODOT cameras showed cars and trucks strewn about the slick, icy road, but it is unknown at this time was caused the incident.
While the eastbound lanes reopened first, westbound remained shut down until just before 8 p.m., when those lanes were also cleared. Cars were diverted off the highway to a detour for hours.
