LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio — UPDATE: As of 3:20 p.m., U.S. 20 in Lorain County has been reopened.
The Ohio Department of Transportation was warning travelers that they may need to find a new route while driving in Lorain County on Saturday.
U.S. 20 from State Route 511/Oberlin Road to State Route 58 was closed due to downed utility lines.
There was no estimate of when the road was expected to re-open, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation initially.
ODOT was advising drivers that they should use State Route 511 to State Route 58 as a detour.
