CANTON, Ohio — Travelers in Northeast Ohio have a new reason to pack their bags.
Low-cost carrier Breeze Airways has launched nonstop flights from the Akron-Canton Airport to Sarasota-Bradenton (SRQ) in Florida.
The service kicks off today. Flights are offered twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and one-way fares start at just $49.
The $49 fare promotion is available for purchase until Nov. 30 for travel between Dec. 3 and May 22, 2025.
Earlier this year, a spokesperson for Breeze Airways confirmed to 3News that the airline is considering Akron-Canton Airport as a site for a crew base.
Breeze currently has nonstop flights to the following cities out of Akron-Canton:
- Charleston
- Las Vegas
- Tampa
- Orlando
- Norfolk
- Ft. Myers
- Raleigh/Durham
- Myrtle Beach
- Sarasota/Bradenton
