How you can visit Israel on a virtual tour bus

You can see a week's worth of locations in Israel in about two-hours time and all online.

CLEVELAND — Airlines aren't the only ones losing billions of dollars during the pandemic. The tourism industry is also a victim of falling revenues.

The Cleveland chapter of the Jewish National Fund is taking part in a unique way to visit Israel, while staying safe at home.

They are giving virtual tours of the country. You can see a week's worth of locations in Israel in about two-hours time and all online.

"We thought it would be fun for us to get some community members together who are sitting at home and give them an opportunity to experience Israel," says Rebecca Bar-Shain of the Jewish National Fund.

About a thousand people have already taken part in the virtual bus tour of the Holy Land.
