As of midnight Saturday, the site FlightAware shows that 125 flights at Hopkins Airport have been delayed, while 47 have been canceled.

3News' David Greenberg was at the airport throughout the early morning hours where some impacted passengers told him they were being patient and going with the flow.

Greenberg also said he talked with a passenger who said United was providing hand-written boarding passes.

A Frontier flight to Houston from CLE was the first to take off amid the issues, Greenberg reported shortly after 6:30 a.m.

It comes as the Associated Press reports that the technical outage is impacting users worldwide, including airlines, banks and more.

Both American Airlines and United issued statements about the situation earlier Friday morning.
