CLEVELAND — From spring one day and back to winter the next.
This is so Northeast Ohio.
We went from temperatures in the 60s and sunshine on Wednesday to cold, cloudy and SNOW today.
Yes. Snow.
If you haven't looked outside yet, go take a peek and see if any flakes fell in your neighborhood.
OK. We get it. This is far from a wicked, accumulating snowfall. Heck, April snow isn't anything new. We've experienced it many times before.
But. Yeah.
It's snowing.
It was a shock to the system for 3News' Rachel Polansky, who is new to Northeast Ohio from Florida.
Our reaction? Just smile. Most of us are at home. The snow isn't expected to stick to the roads, so if you have to go out and drive traffic won't be impacted.
This is nothing compared to that strong storm that swept through our area Tuesday night, bringing damaging winds and tornadoes. We'd much rather have this kind of snow right now. Wouldn't you?
If anything, it's definitely beautiful to look at and another good excuse to stay inside as we all work together on physical distancing.
Plus... As we all know, we'll be back to warmer temperatures in no time (psssst... We're expecting 65 degrees on Sunday).
For the time being, though, happy "spr-inter." Stay warm.
